Welcome to Llantwit Fardre Centurions Cricket Club
Llantwit Fardre Centurions (previously Glamorgan Centurions) represents an ethos to partake in cricket; the club has evolved and progressed since 2006 and is now the midweek side of Llantwit Fardre Cricket Club. We are a community based and friendly Cricket Club. We play our cricket in the Cardiff based Willows League in the summer. We value participation and the social side of the game as much as being competitive and successful on the field. We play our home games at Central Park the home ground of Llantwit Fardre Cricket Club.
With no official date of establishment found, in 2006 the club evolved from what was then the former University of Glamorgan Staff cricket team in to an open and independent Cricket Club. 2006 is accepted as the clubs formal year of establishment as Glamorgan Centurions Cricket Club. The passion shown by the clubs members for participation in cricket and for the club itself moved the club forward quickly. 2009 finally saw us enter an organised league competition, since then the club has prospered both on and off the field resulting in a number of honours since our first in 2012.
In 2024 the club changed it's name to Llantwit Fardre Centurions to further strengthen it's partnership with Llantwit Fardre Cricket Club and in 2025 it formally became the midweek side of Llantwit Fardre Cricket Club, strengthening the clubs sustainability and securing midweek T20 in the CF38 area.
